Nederlandse vrouw met de naam Mandy of Wendy belde me met de openingszin " ik bel u namens Vodafone vast of mobiel om te kijken of uw contract binnenkort verloopt". Waarop ik haar vroeg dat ze dat zelf zou moeten weten als ze mij belde. Waarop ze mij vroeg om mijn geboorte datum. Ik heb haar gezegd dat ik die niet zomaar ging geven en dat ik het een hele rare vraagstelling vond. Waarop ze met een verhaal kwam dat ze een lange lijst voor zich had en het met mijn geboortedatum kon opzoeken en dat mensen het waardeerde als ze belde omdat de contracten soms in 2018 al waren verlopen. Ik zei dat dat niet het geval was bij mij en dat ik het on-line kon opzoeken. Daarop rondde ze het gesprek af.

A Dutch lady who is understanding English quite well but kept speaking in Dutch in the whole conversation. First she was offering me to help extending my mobile subscription with vodafone but then the focus is more and more getting my ID verification including asking the bank account, pas number and the expiry date. She said IBAN number is not required as long as I can give her my bank account number. The call was stopped as she found out that I didn't have my bank pas with me and informed me she call again next time. No word is mentioned about the extension of my mobile subscription.

Ik word nu al een paar dagen gebeld door dit nummer, terwijl mijn nummer geheim is. Zeer irritant. Niet opgenomen om dat ik het gezien de ratings op deze site en andere sites, niet vertrouw.

Vandaag benadert door heer van belt namens Spaardirect, zei hij. Het hele verhaal aangehoord en het eindigde met de vraag naar mijn bankrekeningnummer zonder Iban. NIET gegeven. Hij vertelde dat hij zonder deze gegevens mij niets (lees: aanbieding) kon sturen. Dan maar niet.

Ik heb vanmiddag een abonnement afgesloten via dit nummer. Het gaat om een abonnement van kpn. Het klonk allemaal erg betrouwbaar. Ik wacht alleen nog op een bevestigingsmail. Bij kpn is het niet bekend maar ze zeggen dat het mogelijk is dat de verwerking van het abonnement vannacht of morgen zal plaatsvinden.

De oproepen kwamen over meerdere dagen vele malen. Dat telefoongesprek is beëindigd door af te snijden. Heeft geen bericht achtergelaten aan de voicemail. Ik ken hem niet.
